| The
aim of the French Horological Association (AFAHA) whose
public utility has been officially recognized by decree of the
21st September 1981 is to gather the amateurs and collectors of
timepieces, to favour the contacts between its members, to enlarge
their scientific, historical and artistic knowledge of the instruments
measuring time and to ensure the protection of the art and science
of horology.
Conveniently
located in the clock and watchmaking area crossing the Swiss border
the association publishes twice a year, in French, a journal which
is sent to its members (individuals, museums, libraries, auction
houses, watch manufactures...) in 18 countries. |
